The greater legal community is an important part of the work of PILF! Providing PILF students with great opportunities to help exercise their growing legal skills through volunteer work and hiring our fellows are just a few hands-on ways the legal community can help the mission of PILF.
Donations of auction items, monetary donations, or even funding a full fellowship are some ways the legal community can help PILF through donations.
Support Student Legal Work
Providing PILF students with opportunities to do legal work serving the public interest is one of the best ways the legal community can support PILF!
PILF would like to thank those in the legal community who have supported the work of the organization!
Columbus Bar Foundation Trustee Judge Carrie Glaeden presented a check for $3,500 from the Marsha Schermer Memorial Fund of the Foundation to Melissa Salamon, Vice President of Education, Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF), to support the OSU Moritz PILF summer fellowship program. The grant will be used to provide a stipend for a Moritz law student who will be serving in public interest law during the summer of 2013. The Schermer Fund provides financial support to law students who are committed to public service and has dispersed over $165,000 since its inception.
