Lawrence Negotiation Competition Winners

3Ls Josh Fravel and Ed Hebb have been named this year’s James K.L. Lawrence Competition winners following the five day annual negotiation competition Oct. 6-10. They, along with 2Ls Chris Sponseller and Matt Raby, who took second place, will now represent the Moritz College of Law at the ABA Regional Negotiations Competition in November.

1L Moot Court Interest Meeting

2013 Lawrence Competition Winners Announced

The teams of 3Ls James Saywell and Mark Tupa and 2Ls CJ Demmer and Ryan Edmiston were named the winners of the James K.L. Lawrence Negotiations Competition. The teams advanced through two preliminary rounds and one semi-final round before meeting in the finals, where they negotiated a termination of employment issue. The winning teams were joined in the final round by 2Ls Amy Factor and Madalyn Fairbanks and 3Ls Kelly Kozich and Lindsey Ohlman.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Demmer/Edmiston and Factor/Fairbanks teams will represent Moritz at the ABA Regional Negotiations Competition in Cincinnati, OH November 9-10. The teams will be coached by Prof. Erin Archerd, the Langdon Fellow in Dispute Resolution. Good luck to all!
