About Us

The Moritz Education Law Society at The Ohio State University was founded to raise awareness of issues centering on the intersection of law and education. We promote professional interactions between the students of the Moritz College of Law and the education community at large. In fulfilling our goals, we hope to enlighten and inspire our members and provide them with important networking opportunities.

Throughout the school year, members are encouraged to take on leadership roles in planning our events, which range from off-campus networking activities to on-campus panel discussions and debates. Past events have focussed on everything from education funding and taxation to campus safe spaces and free speech.

Throughout both the school year and summer break, ELS works to connect members with internships, research assistantships and shadowing opportunities with regional and national lawyers in the field of education law.
