The Business Law Society (BLS) is one of the largest student groups at Moritz. Its purpose is to educate OSU law students on current issues in the field of business law and inform students about areas of employment and opportunities in business law.
BLS also serves as an interface with the business community by providing OSU law students with opportunities to meet and interact with faculty and local lawyers who are leaders in the business community.
BLS plans society meetings, and aims to feature speakers that are general counsel in local corporations or attorneys practicing in business law, securities regulation, business litigation, or bankruptcy.
BLS members do not need a business background, although many members have undergraduate and masters degrees in business-related fields.
