Paul Wilkins joined the Ohio State University Student Housing Legal Clinic as a staff attorney in November of 2004. Paul's service to the campus community is a continuation of his deep commitment to public service.

He has served in the United States Marine Corps, volunteered for the Salvation Army and Ohio State Legal Services Association and worked for the Equal Justice Foundation (EJF) and the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio (COHHIO).

Upon graduating from the Moritz College of Law, he accepted an Equal Justice Works Fellowship to work at EJF in Columbus. His fellowship addressed predatory lending through aggressive class action litigation, legislative lobbying, community outreach, and education. While at EJF, Paul testified in front of a joint committee of the Ohio General Assembly and developed a credit management class for consumers. He continues to provide pro bono assistance to EJF.

Paul became director of voter protection for COHHIO in September of 2004. He worked with housing advocates throughout the state to protect the right to vote of the lowest income Ohioans.

A double Ohio State grad, Paul jumped at the opportunity to return to campus to work.

"Ohio State is my home town," he says. "I have always enjoyed working with students and this job gives me the opportunity to work with both law students and undergraduate students."

In his job, he represents Ohio State student tenants with landlord/tenant disputes and supervises Moritz law students in those activities.
