*Cap and Gown pick up 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Drinko Portico (after 2:30 regalia can be picked up in the Student Services Suite)
* Class picture – 4:00 p.m. (wear your robe and nice shoes)

*Mershon Auditorium opens for general seating at 1:00 p.m.*

Accessibility—Mershon Auditorium does not have an elevator. Main floor accessible seating is available for patrons with limited mobility or those using wheelchairs, and their companions. Current ADA standards limit companion seating to 3 people maximum, so making arrangements in advance and arriving early is preferable whenever possible. To make ADA arrangements, contact Patron Services Manager Helyn Marshall or call (614) 688-3890

Seating for Honors Convocation and Hooding Ceremony is unlimited. No tickets will be issued.
Ohio Union special event parking will be available during Honors Convocation and Hooding Ceremony. Special event parking is $5 cash.

  • Honors Convocation
    • Dean Alan Michaels will open the Honors Convocation to celebrate with family, friends, and Moritz College of Law staff and faculty the achievements of the class of 2018. Students who have received awards during their time at Moritz will be recognized on stage with certificates.
  • Send-Off
    • The class photo will be taken and a short presentation including announcement of professor and staff person of the year selected by the Class of 2018.
  • Video Stream
    • For family and friends who are unable to attend the 2018 Hooding Ceremony, a video stream will be available during the event.
