Race Judicata

RACE JUDICATA, a charity 5k run/walk for people and pets presented by the Student Bar Association, is a community service event that brings law students and members of the Columbus legal community together for a day of service.

Cost of participation is $20. Proceeds from this year's race will be donated to the Columbus Bar Foundation, a philanthropic organization supported by Central Ohio's legal community. Through grants, the Foundation provides seed money and support for a variety of programs such as: providing female and minority law students with scholarships; assisting children and victims of domestic violence through the Legal Aid Society of Columbus and Columbus Coalition Against Family Violence; operating Lawyers for Justice, the Columbus Bar's pro bono program; supporting the Center for Child and Family Advocacy at Children's Hospital; funding educational programs at central Ohio law schools; and others.

Additionally, for a donation of $50, law firm, business, or other group logos can be placed on Race Judicata t-shirts. Large logos are available for a donation of $100, and premium logos are available for sponsors that donate $250 or more.
