David Sklansky, John H. Watson, Jr. Visiting Professor of Law at Harvard Law School and Professor of Law at Boalt Hall Law School at the University of California, Berkeley, will deliver the Blackmun Lecture on October 23. He will speak on "Is the Exclusionary Rule Obsolete?"

Professor Sklansky will be contemplating what Justice Blackmun might have written - from his pragmatic perspective - in the recent Hudson case from the Supreme Court, in which Justice Scalia questioned the current need for the exclusionary rule.
