Law and Capital Markets @ Ohio State

Law and Capital Markets @ Ohio State is a program of The Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University. The nonpartisan program aims to further the study of capital markets and corporate law. The program hosts multiple events throughout the year in Columbus and key financial centers. These events generate open and vigorous exchange about the leading problems and issues dealmakers face and are commonly co-sponsored by private organizations.

Capital Markets Speakers Series

The Capital Markets Speaker Series brings in leading academics and practitioners to address students in the Capital Markets Seminar taught by Professor Steven Davidoff. Program faculty also attend and participate in the seminar.

Corporate Forum

The Corporate Forum is the program’s annual keystone event. The forum brings together academics, attorneys and industry participants to discuss pressing issues.

General Counsel Series

The General Counsel Series brings leading attorneys of prominent businesses to The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law to speak on current topics in capital markets or their industry.

Tax Colloquium

The Tax Colloquium brings leading tax scholars to The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law to interact with faculty and students about their most recent research or on other topics of current interest.
