Melissa Froelich '11

Melissa Froelich '11, is preparing for a life of leadership by serving as the Vice President of the Student Bar Association during her third-year of law school. As a Leadership Scholarship recipient, Melissa has participated in many of the events and activities through the Program on Law and Leadership, and she is grateful for the opportunities it has made available to her.

She explained that the "Program on Law and Leadership highlights the tone that I expect from my time at Moritz. The academics of law school have prepared me to think like a lawyer, but the experiences I have sought out have taught me how to act like a lawyer."

She also believes that because she has taken advantage of many of the PLL offerings, she has been able to utilize what she's learned and be involved; she also serves as a legal clerk at the Student Housing Legal Clinc.

"The Program on Law and Leadership supports Moritz students in their endeavors to develop life skills to contribute to all of their communities."
