Speaker Series
The program's Speaker Series brings distinguished "thought leaders" to campus to give lectures on the theme of leadership and to interact candidly with students. These accomplished leaders come from a host of backgrounds and experiences and share their knowledge and insights with students through public lectures, intimate small group lunches or dinners, or other sessions.
For example, in 2006, the Moritz College of Law hosted David Gergen, who delivered a lecture on leadership. Gergen, a lawyer by training, is currently a professor of public service at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government and director of its Center for Public Leadership. He is also editor-at-large for U.S. News & World Report. He previously served as a White House advisor to Presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Clinton.
