"Each of these [PLL] events allows students to learn from leaders in the community and learn about themselves. The role of a law student becomes overwhelming and repetitive at times; it is refreshing to remember that at the end of the day our goal is not only to be competent lawyers, but leaders in the community and to continue to work toward positive change."

Education

The Program on Law and Leadership (PLL) provides an interdisciplinary approach to educate law students at Moritz about leadership. The program integrates coursework, guest speakers, workshops, and small group discussions within the more traditional structure of academic study to educate our students in the theory, practice, and development of leadership and leadership skills. Our PLL students develop an appreciation for self-exploration and discovery, crucial to the lifelong learning approach necessary in effective leadership. Upon graduation, students are prepared to apply these new leadership ideas and approaches in their own careers, both in- and outside the practice of law.
