Jack Creighton '57 is the Strategic Director of Madrona Venture Group in Seattle, WA. From 1991 to 1996, he served as CEO and president of Weyerhaeuser. In 1998 he joined UAL (parent of United Airlines) as a director and served as its interim CEO and chairman. Creighton has been an active advisor and supporter of the PLL since its inception.
Huda Ahmed '07 and classmates formed the International Development Collaborative (IDC), a nonprofit designed to encourage and assist in the creation of entrepreneurial enterprises in developing countries.
Hon. Robert Duncan '52 was the first African-American appointed to an Ohio federal court, by President Richard Nixon, to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in 1974. It was in this position that Duncan wrote the landmark order ending segregation in the Columbus Public Schools. In 1985, Duncan became partner with the Columbus office of Jones Day. In 1992, he was appointed vice president and general counsel to The Ohio State University. He also served as secretary to the Ohio State University Board of Trustees.
