Emotional Intelligence Assesment Workshop

Emotional intelligence (EQ) is concerned with understanding oneself and others, relating to people, and adapting to and coping with the immediate surroundings to be more successful in dealing with environmental demands. EQ helps to predict success because it reflects how a person applies knowledge to the immediate situation. As a result of your participation in this workshop you will: (1) recognize and understand key dimensions of emotional intelligence; (2) develop strategies to improve and enhance their effectiveness whether at school, work or at home; and (3) receive the results of their own emotional intelligence assessment.

Want to know what your EQ is? Want to know how that information can make you a more effective lawyer, leader, and professional? Then take advantage of this amazing opportunity through a three part workshop.

Part 1: Take the assessment prior to the November 4 workshop (an email with testing information will be sent to you after your participation is confirmed)

Part 2: Attend the workshop on Friday, November 4 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. in 245 Drinko to learn more about EQ and receive your EQ results.
Part 3: Attend a one-on-one individualized counseling session (1 hour) with a trained professional to analyze the results of your EQ assessment later in November (dates to be arranged individually with counselor).
