Michael Parini is Vice President, Assistant General Counsel - Chief Counsel for the Primary Care Business Unit. Michael began his career at Pfizer in 2004 and has served in various leadership positions overseeing legal support for key Pfizer in-line and development assets. In addition, he was responsible for overseeing the Legal Division U.S. Policy and Global Privacy efforts, including formulating and advocating the Company views with respect to, among other things, coverage, pricing and reimbursement issues.

Before joining Pfizer, Michael was an associate in the Health Industry Practice Group at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in Washington, D.C., focusing on legislative advocacy and regulatory counseling on behalf of pharmaceutical and specialty hospital clients.

Michael received his Bachelor’s degree in American Government from Georgetown University in 1996 and his law degree from Georgetown Law in 1999.
