Public Speaking Workshop

This is an invitation-only event.

During this hands-on workshop, students will have the opportunity to learn advanced public speaking skills from Mark Weaver, a national expert in the field who also is an Adjunct Faculty member at Moritz. Mark is the former spokesperson for the US Department of Justice and the former Deputy Attorney General of Ohio. This intense training workshop will be useful to you not just in law school, but will prepare you for a future as a leader in the law profession or your community.

The session will be from 3:00-6:00pm on Friday, March 29 at the Barrister Club (refreshments provided). The workshop will focus on practical public speaking tips that will be applied in the class. Some students will give a speech to the class and receive feedback and professional critique from the instructor.

Students who want to be entered into a lotter for a spot in this workshop should send an email to Annina Parini at Parini.2@osu.edu by noon on Tuesday, March 19^th. You will be notified via email if you are selected to attend the workshop.
