Delegating to and Supervising Others in the Organization: “So What Gives You the Right to Boss Around Other Law Students?”

May 15, 2017 | 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Delegating to lawyers and law students is different. They tend to be more analytical and skeptical, and value their independence, compared to the average person.  And they are colleagues.  This workshop will help you choose the most effective approaches with law students (and later with lawyers) as you decide what to do yourself and what to delegate, choose the person to delegate to, craft the request, determine the degree of leeway, prepare the person, decide on interim feedback, and give credit.

You may attend in person, Drinko 345, or log-in and attend this workshop virtually. If you attend virtually, a log-in code will be sent to you in advance of the workshop.
