A Message from the Co-Directors

Welcome to the Program on Law and Leadership at the Moritz College of Law. In the three years since the inception of this program, nearly 500 Moritz students have participated in this educational experiment. As we continue to refine and develop this program, a multitude of events, guest speakers, and activities are planned throughout each academic year. We invite you to explore these pages and learn more about the leadership happenings at Moritz. The program's mission reflects the college's mission to prepare its graduates to serve and lead the legal profession, the judiciary, and private and public organizations.

We believe law schools can and should prepare students for the broad spectrum of leadership positions they may occupy throughout the length of their careers. At the Moritz College of Law, our alumni have served in a myriad of leadership roles both in legal and community settings. The Program on Law and Leadership seeks to continue this proud tradition by helping students develop an understanding of leadership — integrating leadership skills with legal expertise to drive change and positively impact society.

The Program on Law and Leadership prepares Moritz graduates to be ambitious, passionate, curious, and successful leaders. We hope you will take advantage of all of the resources the Program has to offer Moritz Law students.
