How do I become involved with the Program on Law and Leadership?
All Moritz College of Law students are invited to take advantage of the Program on Law and Leadership's events and services from the start of their academic careers. Becoming involved from the beginning allows students to get to know our staff and benefit from our events and activities. The program offers students resources to develop their leadership skills and knowledge. How do I become involved with the Program on Law and Leadership as an alumnus/a?
Alumni play an important role in guiding current students and sharing their experience and advice. As an alumnus/a, you may choose to become involved with the program by serving as a guest speaker, by participating in the Mentoring and More @ Moritz program, or by providing financial support. What is the Program on Law and Leadership's mission?
The mission of the Program on Law and Leadership is to develop leadership skills and awareness in all Moritz College of Law students and to create a community of legal practitioners with a lifelong commitment to achieving professional, organizational, community, and societal progress through the effective exercise of leadership. What courses does the program offer?
The college offers a pioneering leadership development course for law students, Lawyers as Leaders. In addition, a variety of dispute resolution, clinic, experiential, and other courses taught by Moritz faculty offer a wide array of curricular offerings. Can you send me any information regarding your executive programs?
At this time, the Program on Law and Leadership at Moritz does not offer executive education programs. [back to top]

What research opportunities, if any, are available through the program?
Please note that we frequently receive inquiries from people regarding the availability of paid/volunteer research positions. While the program generally does not hire staff, on occasion Professor Jenkins hires research assistants to assist with his research projects. These positions are limited to students enrolled in the J.D. or LL.M Program at Moritz. When openings are available, they are posted with the Moritz Career Services Office. [back to top]
