Woodside Speaker Series
Dr. Frank C. Woodside III, a partner with Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, Cincinnati, Ohio practices in the areas of Health Care and Products Liability. His practice specifically focuses on the representation of manufacturing concerns in class actions and mass tort litigation in such areas as pharmaceuticals, and medical devices; the trial of drug, medical device and tobacco product liability cases; and the defense of health care providers in medical malpractice litigation. Dr. Woodside has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for the past 11 years.
Dr. Woodside has served as primary trial counsel in medical malpractice, products liability, mass tort and other cases tried in Ohio, Kansas, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Colorado, Texas, Illinois, California, Maryland, and Iowa with over 70 cases tried to verdict or judgment. He has argued cases before the Supreme Court of Ohio, the First, Third, and Sixth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court.
Dr. Woodside also serves as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a clinical professor of pediatrics emeritus at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Legal Medicine, a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys, and a member of the Board of Trustees at the Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Woodside received his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, cum laude, his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati, and his B.S. from The Ohio State University.
