Professor Davidoff Testifies Before Senate Committee

Professor Steven Davidoff spoke before the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on Wednesday, Jan. 21. During the hearing, titled "Where Were the Watchdogs? The Financial Crisis and the Breakdown of Financial Governance," Prof. Davidoff joined Gene L. Dodaro, acting comptroller general, U.S. Government Accountability Office; and Howell E. Jackson, a professor at the Harvard Law School.

Professor Davidoff is visiting the Moritz College of Law from the University of Connecticut School of Law during the 2008-09 school year. At Moritz, he teaches Contracts, Business Associations, and a Capital Markets seminar.
Professor Davidoff’s research focus is on corporate governance, regulation of hedge funds, mergers and acquisitions, and securities regulation.
Professor Davidoff also writes a regular column for The New York Times "DealBook" site as “The Deal Professor,” which primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions.
