Reminder: Curriculum Guide & Course Enrollment Planning

Posted on May 15, 2017

Course enrollment for Seat Deposited Admitted Students will begin in late May. In order to prepare for enrollment and the required pre-enrollment advising session, each student must review and complete the preliminary tasks that are outlined in the 2017 LL.M. Guide to the Moritz Curriculum. The course registration process laid out in detail in Section One, Part B (starting on page 5). Please be sure to follow all seven steps so that you are adequately prepared for your Skype advising session. We will be emailing you this week to arrange your skype advising session with Assistant Dean Laura Fernandez.

Pre-Departure Orientations

Incoming students will participate in a structured orientation program upon arrival at Moritz from August 15-18, but were you aware that there is also orientation information available BEFORE you leave your home country?

EducationUSA, the U.S. Department of State bureau which works to foster mutual understanding through educational exchange with other countries, offers such programs (both in person and online).

These sessions are designed to prepare students for their study abroad experience.  Topics may include information on culture shock, health and travel insurance, medical and money matters, plane ticket, and visas among others. Though the session is not mandatory, it is another great opportunity to receive accurate information from a trusted source.

You can find pre-departure orientation sessions for your area through the EducationUSA website.
