Law Bridge Program–UPDATED
There is still time to enroll in OSU’s new innovative Law Bridge Program. Created specifically for incoming LLM students, the program offers new students the change to hone English skills, get acquainted with campus and Columbus, and get an insider’s perspective on the coursework ahead.
The program will meet five hours daily from July 30 to August 15. There is no need to add time to your visa, as it was designed to fit neatly into the 30-day grace period before your I-20 start date. Students should plan to arrive in Columbus on July 27. After the program ends, the mandatory orientation at Moritz begins August 18.
Each class session offers three hours of English/academic preparation and two hours of legal-specific English instruction.
The cost of the program is $1900. Housing/meals will be available in OSU residence halls during the program, with students being able to move out into their permanent housing arrangements as these become available.
Those registered for the Law Bridge Program can pay tuition by contacting ALP staff member Poppy Thornton. She will accept credit card information by phone at 001-614-292-1364. Alternatively, you can pay when you arrive, either by credit card or by check.
