Hours & Location

The Michael E. Moritz Law Library is located on the second floor of Drinko Hall, 55 West 12th Avenue (Driving Directions and Parking Information). Below is a breakdown of our operating hours. We will announce, in advance, any departures from this schedule.

Regular Law Library Hours (2009-10 Academic Year)

Monday - Thursday: 7:15 a.m. - Midnight*
Friday: 7:15 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10a.m. - Midnight

*Entrance is locked at 9pm Monday-Thursday and at 8pm Friday-Sunday. Building access is limited to OSU law students after those times.

Regular Reference Hours
Reference Librarians are on duty at the following times during regular hours:

Monday - Friday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday: no reference
Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Holiday and Break Hours

Martin Luther King Day (January 18) 2010

Regular Library Hours. Reference service will be available at the normal times.

Spring Break Hours (Mar. 23-27) 2010

Mar. 19 (Friday): 7:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mar. 20 (Saturday): 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mar. 21 (Sunday): noon to 5:00 p.m.
Mar. 22-25 (Monday-Thursday): 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Mar. 26 (Friday): 7:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mar. 27 (Saturday): 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mar. 28 (Sunday): 10:00 a.m. to Midnight

Reference service will be provided Monday through Friday at the normal times and on Sunday, Mar. 29, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Regular Library Hours. Reference service will not be available on Sunday, October 5. Reference service will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Veteran's Day Holiday (Nov. 11) 2009

Regular Library Hours. Reference service will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Reference service will be available weekdays at the normal times. The Law Library's regular hours for the Winter/Spring Semester will begin on Sunday, Jan. 11.
