New Acquisitions
The list of new acquisitions for May is now available.
Summer Westlaw & LexisNexis Access
Law students will have only limited access to Westlaw and Lexis in June and July unless their summer activities qualify them for continued, full access. Continued access is extended for students taking summer classes, working as research assistants for professors, performing law journal research, etc. It is easy for qualified students to get summer access. Simply log-in to the systems as normal, then look for a link or a button that mentions extended summer access. Students interested in continued summer access should extend their access prior to June 1st. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact Matt Steinke (steinke.14@osu.edu).
Same-Sex Marriage Laws
The Moritz Law Library has produced this state-by-state chart that summarizes the current state of U.S. state laws related to same-sex marriages.
AudioCaseFiles
The Library has subscribed to the AudioCaseFiles service. AudioCaseFiles contains downloadable audio files of court opinions and podcasts from law professors and law students. The website contains cases from many 1L classes along with some 2L and 3L subjects. To use this service, simply go to the AudioCaseFiles website and "Sign Up for An Account." Use your OSU e-mail address (.osu.edu) when registering.
