Summer Westlaw & LexisNexis Access
Law students will have only limited access to Westlaw and Lexis in June and July unless their summer activities qualify them for continued, full access. Continued access is extended for students taking summer classes, working as research assistants for professors, performing law journal research, etc. It is easy for qualified students to get summer access. Simply log-in to the systems as normal, then look for a link or a button that mentions extended summer access. Students interested in continued summer access should extend their access prior to June 1st. After that date, access to Lexis or Westlaw will be limited. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact Matt Steinke (steinke.14@osu.edu).

OSU Library Catalog Trial
OSU Libraries has started a pilot program to test a new library catalog interface, WorldCat Local. Links to the "Library Catalog" from the Law Library web site will now direct users to WorldCat Local. Some of the major features of WorldCat Local include a single search box, faceted browsing, and the inclusion of some journal articles in the catalog itself. It also allows users, in a single search, to search the OhioLINK catalog and the catalogs of libraries worldwide (WorldCat). The regular library catalog (OSU Libraries Catalog) is still available (a link to the OSU Libraries Catalog appears at the bottom of the WorldCat Local page). Please let the librarians know what you think about the new interface. Your thoughts are very importance to us, and your input will be shared with OSU Libraries. You can also provide your feedback directly to OSU Libraries by completing a survey or sending them an e-mail.
