Doing Good — Doing Well: Emerging Issues in Corporate Social Responsibility

February 18, 2016 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The spectrum of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is broad and ever-changing. It encompasses topics affecting peoples’ everyday lives and as well as massive global challenges such as environmental sustainability and poverty, just to highlight a couple. In observance of the United Nation’s World Day of Social Justice, the Moritz International and Graduate Affairs Office is co-hosting a panel event and networking reception that will draw on perspectives from academics and practitioners in law, business and ethics to foster dialouge about CSR as a driver of social justice in today’s globalized economy. Talking points may include human rights in emerging markets, legal and ethical issues faced by social entrepreneurs, and the social implications of political engagement by corporations. This is event is co-sponsored by the LLM program and Law, Finance, and Governance @ Ohio State.
