Law and Capital Markets @ Ohio State

Law and Capital Markets @ Ohio State is a program of The Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University. The nonpartisan program aims to further the study of capital markets and corporate law. The program hosts multiple events throughout the year in Columbus and key financial centers. These events generate open and vigorous exchange about the leading problems and issues dealmakers face and are commonly co-sponsored by private organizations.

Coming Soon:  We are growing!

In September 2014, the program on Law and Capital Markets @ Ohio State will become the program on Law, Finance and Governance @ Ohio State. The change represents an exciting and forward-thinking evolution of the highly successful business law program at The Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law.

The focus of the new program will reach beyond capital markets to other forms of business activity outside of the public markets, such as insurance, infrastructure, banking and public finance, all of which are important, especially to Moritz’s home communities of Columbus and Ohio. By expanding the reach of the program, it can benefit a broader constituency within Moritz, the University and the community of practitioners, regulators and business people.

Look for new programming this year!
