As part of the U.S. Department of Justice, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention provides support to state and local communities in their efforts to develop and implement prevention and intervention programs. OJJDP makes available to the public data and research on juvenile offenders and victims and the juvenile justice system.

The Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice
This private, nonprofit organization's mission is to reduce society's reliance on incarceration as a solution to social problems. The Center, through its Justice Policy Institute, also conducts research, proffers model legislation, and undertakes individual legal reform projects.

National Center for Juvenile Justice
As the research division of the National Council of Family and Juvenile Court Judges, the Center provides information about state laws, policies, and practices in juvenile and family courts.

American Bar Association Juvenile Justice Committee
