Law Firm Challenge

2007-08 Results

The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law asked alumni in firms and companies with five or more Moritz graduates to participate in the inaugural Law Firm Challenge. Ten firms agreed to take part in the Challenge, which lasted for a year and ended June 30, 2008. The successful program resulted in its participants giving more gifts as compared to previous years. Those alumni participating in the Challenge increased the number of their gifts by 184% over the year prior, and increased the dollar amount of their gifts by 134%.

All donations will aid the Law Annual Fund and Leadership Scholarship Initiative. The Law Annual Fund provides funding for student scholarships, faculty support, physical improvements, and innovative programming such as Mentoring and More @ Moritz, and the semester abroad at Oxford University. Leadership Scholarships are awarded to incoming high achieving J.D. candidates who demonstrate strong leadership potential.

The College would like to thank all of the organizations that participated in the program and the volunteers for their time and effort in making the Law Firm Challenge successful.
