Renewable and Annual Awards

Certain financial aid awards offered by the Moritz College of Law are renewable for the recipient's second and third years of law school. Other forms of financial aid are awarded for one academic year only. If you have any questions about the list below, please contact our staff by email at lawfinaid@osu.edu or phone (614) 292-8807.

Renewable Awards

• Diversity Enrichment Grant - This award renews automatically if recipient remains in good academic standing
• Academic Merit Scholarship - This award renews automatically if recipient has a 2.5 GPA at end of academic year
• Moritz Merit Scholarship - This award renews automatically if recipient has a 3.0 GPA at end of academic year
• Moritz Leadership Scholarship - This award renews automatically if recipient has a 2.5 GPA at end of academic year and participates in leadership program

Annual Awards

• Moritz Need-Based Grant - complete FASFA by February 15 and must complete and mail in (or drop off) the Need-Based Grant Application by February 15
• Endowed grants from the Moritz College and the University - Recipients of these awards may apply for these aid types for the 2nd and 3rd years of law school; however, the College reserves the right to give preference to students who have not previously been awarded this aid.
