Academic Merit Scholarships
Academic Merit Scholarships are awarded to students who have a record of significant academic accomplishment and potential for success in their legal studies, based primarily upon the cumulative undergraduate grade point average (UGPA) and law school admission test (LSAT) score(s). Applications for this award are not required, as all admitted students will automatically be considered. The most competitive recipients typically have UGPA's and LSAT scores above the law school medians.
Academic Merit Scholarships are renewable for each year of law school, not to exceed three years total. In order to maintain an Academic Merit Scholarship, one must maintain at least a 2.5 grade point average. For more information about the Academic Merit Scholarship, please contact the Financial Aid office at lawfinaid@osu.edu or (614) 292-8807.
