Questions/Concerns

Financial aid for law students is a cooperative effort between two offices on campus: the Moritz College of Law Office of Admissions and Financial Aid and the University Office of Student Financial Aid.

The Moritz College of Law Office of Admissions and Financial Aid is responsible for counseling law students, disseminating financial aid information, and assisting students with individual financial aid issues.

The University Office of Student Financial Aid has responsibility for interfacing with lenders and the federal government, as well as for the actual processing of students' scholarships, grants, and loans.

Law students who contact the University Office of Student Financial Aid for assistance will generally be referred to the Moritz College of Law Office of Student Financial Aid.

Current students are encouraged to check their financial aid account and their Statement of Account via the web through Buckeye Link at http://buckeyelink.osu.edu/.

Law students whose questions cannot be readily answered by online resources are welcome to meet with a member of the staff of the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid. The Moritz College of Law Office of Admissions and Financial Aid welcomes students' questions and concerns in-person, by phone (614-292-8807), and by email (lawfinaid@osu.edu).

Walk-in hours for current students are available Monday through Friday. Walk-in hours are posted in 104 Drinko. Entering students may schedule an appointment to discuss financial aid when visiting the college.
