 Dan Conway, a partner at Porter Wright, works in their Oil & Gas and Energy & Telecommunications practices and has a wealth of experience in public utility law.

In addition to Columbus Southern Power and Ohio Power, Dan has represented other Ohio electric utilities in a variety of matters over the last 24 years, including rate cases and rulemakings before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO), and appeals to the Ohio Supreme Court and the federal courts. He has also represented incumbent local exchange telephone companies, including a Regional Bell Operating Company, in arbitrations, complaint cases, rulemakings and other proceedings before the PUCO, appeals of PUCO decisions to the Ohio Supreme Court, and in litigation in the federal courts. Dan is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and was named Best Lawyers® 2014 Columbus, Ohio Communications Law Lawyer of the Year and has been recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers®.

Dan received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University and his Juris Doctor from University of Michigan Law School.
