Dr. Bob Stinson is a board certified forensic psychologist, attorney at law, and licensed independent chemical dependency counselor – clinical supervisor.  Dr. Stinson is President of Stinson & Associates, Inc., which provides consultations and evaluations, specializing in clinical and forensic psychology, and also has a general law practice, focusing on Administrative Law and disciplinary actions professionals face from their regulatory boards.

Additionally, he is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.  He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology (AAFP) and a Diplomate in forensic psychology with the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).  He has full clinical and special forensic hospital privileges at Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare in Columbus, Ohio, where he also chairs the hospital’s ethics committee.  Moreover, he is an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Psychology at The Ohio State University and a Clinical Associate Professor at Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology.

Dr. Stinson obtained his doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology and his J.D. from Capital University Law School.  He holds membership in the American Psychological Association (and several of its divisions), the Ohio Psychological Association (where he serves on the Board of Directors as the Chair of the Ethics Committee), and he is a Past-President of the Central Ohio Psychological Association (COPA).  He is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. He has lectured throughout the country on mental health law and ethics.
