Christopher J. Walker

Assistant Professor of Law

Professor Walker joined the faculty at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2012. Prior to working for several years at a litigation boutique in Washington, D.C., he clerked for Justice Anthony M. Kennedy of the U.S. Supreme Court and Judge Alex Kozinski of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Professor Walker also previously worked on the Civil Appellate Staff at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he represented federal agencies and defended federal regulations in a variety of contexts.

At Moritz, Professor Walker teaches Administrative Law, Constitutional Litigation, Legislation, and State and Local Government Law.

Professor Walker received his law degree from Stanford Law School and a master's in public policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. At Stanford, he served as managing editor of the Stanford Law Review as well as editor-in-chief of the Stanford Law and Policy Review. At the Kennedy School, Professor Walker concentrated in education and immigration policy and was a FLAS Fellow at Harvard's David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies where he explored rule of law and judicial independence issues in Latin America.

His publications have appeared in the Stanford Law Review, Administrative Law Review, George Washington Law Review, Texas Law Review See Also, and Stanford Journal of Civil Rights & Civil Liberties, among others. Professor Walker's research focuses on administrative law, regulation, and law and policy at the agency level.
