Doug Cole is an attorney at Organ Stock Law LLP where he represents clients in complex civil litigation, including intellectual property matters, at the trial and appellate levels. Cole served as Ohio's state solicitor from 2002-2006 and in that capacity he argued five cases in the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition he has argued more than 20 cases in the Ohio Supreme Court and federal courts of appeals, and has appeared in state and federal trial courts across the country. Cole also has a strong technical background, with degrees in electrical and computer engineering, physics, and mathematics.

He has handled patent matters involving various technologies including telecommunications, semiconductors, networking, software and growing media. Representative clients include SanDisk, which he as represented both in the Federal Circuit and before the ITC, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, Sendmail, and Molycorp.
