Kelly Bott Smith

Counselor to the Dean

Kelly Bott Smith graduated from the Moritz College of Law in 1998. (While a student, she received the Topper Eagle award for contributions made to the moot court program.)

She practiced law for four years at the Columbus office of Jones Day, focusing on general litigation and state & local tax matters. In 2002, she left Jones Day to pursue a graduate degree in higher education. After completing an M.Ed at Ohio University in June 2003, she returned to Moritz as its registrar.

As Counselor to the Dean, Kelly works part-time on curricular matters, scheduling, accommodations for students with disabilities and other projects as needed.
