CIC? SAFE? ADIA? SIC? What do these abbreviations all stand for? Why is the business world interested in sovereign wealth funds? People throw around statements like, "China owns 50% of U.S. government debt" without giving much thought to how that has been accomplished. After attending this lecture when sovereign wealth funds come up in the news, you will not only be able to understand what is going on, but should also be able to converse intelligently on the subject.
