Practice of Law in Small Firms and Solo Practice

The Black Law Student Association and the Business Law Society are co-sponsoring an event on the practice of law in small law firms and as solo practitioners. The event will be comprised of a panel discussion featuring a number of lawyers from the Central Ohio area. Food will be provided and the event is scheduled for Monday October 1st at 12:10 PM in room 250.
Terri Jamison: President of Jamison Law Offices Co. LPA focuses on Criminal, Juvenile and Domestic Relations at the trial and appellate level. Candidate for Judge in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations – Juvenile Court; In 2006, she was named as one of the top ten attorneys appointed by the Court to represent clients.
Mary Lewis ‘11: Mary E. Lewis, Esq., LLC focuses on handling civil rights and employment law cases including discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations as well as family law such as wills, living wills, powers of attorney, divorce, and adoptions. She also handles other legal matters for her clients including DUI and OVI cases.
Jocelyn Armstrong: J. Armstrong Law Firm, LLC, focuses on estate planning and probate, domestic and juvenile, small business transactions, and criminal defense. With the help of the Columbus Bar Association inc Professional Development Center, the J. Armstrong Law Firm expanded from a part-time practice to full-time solo practice in April 2011.
Bryan Griffith ’10: Founder of, Suit Services, LLC, which provides practice management software, and law clerk services to solo and small firm attorneys in central Ohio. Bryan is the Chairman of the CBA Small Firm/Solo Practitioner Committee.
Gregory S. Reichenbach: Attorney at Law at Gregory S. Reichenbach. Greg is a trial attorney representing primarily poor and working-class Ohio consumers. He represents consumers in collection defense cases. He also brings claims against debt collectors, used automobile dealers and other businesses who engage in unfair and deceptive acts. He has written articles for the public, and presented at several trainings for attorneys in Ohio.
