Some voting precincts may be cut

The Putnam Election Commission has started discussion about the possibility of eliminating several voting precincts in the county.

Additional Precincts could Shorten Lines at Election Time

The Greenwood County Voter Registration and Elections Office is proposing creating three new voting precincts as well as a name change for two precincts. The creation of new voting precincts will help to alleviate long lines during major elections, according to Connie Moody, Director of Voter Registration & Elections.
