Republican Concedes in Pennsylvania Race

Republican Shannon Royer conceded yesterday in Pennsylvania's General Assembly race for the 156th Legislative District. According to reports, the final recount gave the victory to Democrat Barbara McIlvane Smith, 11,616 votes to Royer's 11,588, and Democrats control of Pennylvania's House.
