ID Requirements and Type of Ballot for First-Time Voters in Ohio Who Registered by Mail

*Adequate ID (42 USCA §15483(b)(3)(A))
- Copy of current valid photo ID; or
- Copy of current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document showing name & address of the voter; or
- Driver’s license number and a state or local election official matches the information submitted with an existing state identification record bearing the same number, name and date of birth; or
- At least the last 4 digits of the individual’s social security number and a state or local election official matches the information submitted with an existing state identification record bearing the same number, name and date of birth

- Current valid photo ID; or
- Current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document showing name & address of the voter
