What Are the Requirements for Eligibility to Vote in Ohio?
To be eligible to vote in Ohio elections, a person must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of the state of Ohio, and at least 18 years of age. An eligible voter cannot be a person currently incarcerated for a felony though a paroled felon is eligible to vote providing he or she meets the other qualifications. Also, an eligible voter must not only register but also be an Ohio resident at least 30 days prior to the election.
