Ohio Supreme Court Orders Ballot Board to Reconvene
Yesterday in State ex rel. Voters First v. The Ohio Ballot Board, the Ohio Supreme Court issued a writ of mandamus and accompanying slip opinion ordering the Ohio Ballot Board to reconvene and adopt ballot language properly describing a proposed redistricting constitutional amendment. According to the court, the previously adopted language failed to properly identify the substance of the amendment, which would mislead voters.
