Franken submits alternative trial schedule
The Franken campaign has submitted a document laying out a trial schedule and the order in which issues should be dealt with at trial. They would like to begin the trial on Jan. 26 and have it last no more than 15 days. Coleman, on the other hand, has suggested the trial start on Feb. 9 and proceed in stages, dealing first with a group of absentee ballots that the Coleman campaign claims were wrongly excluded. The Franken campaign has suggested starting with the ballots that were recounted and included in the state canvass before moving on to other disputes. See the Star Tribune coverage here.
