Legal Pipeline Program

The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law particaptes in the Law and Leadership Institute. This program brings 9th, 10th, and 11th graders from underserved communities to Moritz each summer for six weeks to learn law and study skills. After participating in the summer, many students spend weekends during the school year at Moritz as well. Students enrolled in the program gain critical academic skills in studying, test-taking and writing, in addition to self-confidence, an awareness of college-level expectations and interaction with positive role models to encourage and nurture their educational and professional goals. Moritz students often serve as teachers in the program.
