Discover Law at Moritz
Only 1 in 25 lawyers are of color. No single minority group in the United States accounts for more than 4% of the lawyers in the United States. The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law Office of Diversity and Inclusion would like to change that statistic.
The Moritz College of Law’s commitment to informing, encouraging, and educating students of color is shared by the Law School Admissions Council. Visit www.DiscoverLaw.org to learn more about opportunities available in the legal profession.
Discover Law at Moritz is an event which aims to increase members of the minority community’s understanding of the legal profession and expose them to career opportunities. Additionally, the program offers insights into the requirements for admission to law school and entrance into the legal profession. Our target group is talented high school students ranging from sophomores to seniors and college students of color (but all college students and the general public are welcome to attend).
