Frederick J. Haas Professor of Law and Philosophy, Georgetown University Law Center

Robin L. West is the Frederick J. Haas Professor of Law and Philosophy and the Associate Dean of Research and Academic Programs at the Georgetown University Law Center. Professor West has written extensively on gender issues and feminist legal theory, constitutional law and theory, jurisprudence, legal philosophy, and law and literature.

Professor West joined Georgetown from the University of Maryland Law School, where she taught from 1986-91. She has been a visiting professor at the University of Chicago and Stanford. She also taught at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University from 1982-85.
