John W. Anderson
President of Northern Capital Group

John W. Anderson is currently President of Northern Capital Group, a real estate development and acquisition company headquartered in Rochester, New York. Prior to this, Mr. Anderson was President and Chief Executive Officer of Wilmorite Properties, Inc. a private REIT located in Rochester.

Mr. Anderson has over 20 years experience in the real estate industry. After graduating from the University of Rochester in 1980 with a M.B.A., Mr. Anderson joined the Irving Trust Company at One Wall Street in New York City. After one year in the bank's Officer training program, Mr. Anderson was assigned to the International Banking Group with responsibility for European multi-national corporations and financial institutions.

Mr. Anderson left Irving and joined Citicorp Real Estate, Inc. ("CREI") in 1985. CREI was Citicorp's main real estate financing vehicle and had relationships with the largest real estate developers and owners on a worldwide basis. In 1989, Mr. Anderson left Citicorp and moved to Rochester where he was appointed Wilmorite's Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Anderson helped to create a new capital structure for Wilmorite which included raising private equity from a number of institutional investors and in 1998 was named President and CEO. His efforts culminated in the formation in 2000 of a private Real Estate Investment Trust with both institutional and private shareholders.

In 2005, Wilmorite was acquired by the Macerich Company, a publicly traded REIT. Since the completion of the acquisition by Macerich, Mr. Anderson has continued to work, through Northern Capital, with Macerich and is currently leading the effort in the development of a three million square foot transit-oriented residential and office project in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Additionally, through an affiliate of Northern Capital, Mr. Anderson owns and operates a number of commercial office projects in the Rochester area.

Mr. Anderson is married with four children and lives in Pittsford, New York. He serves on the Executive Advisory Council of the University of Rochester's Simon School, is a Council Member of the Urban Land Institute, is the Chairman of the Board of the Trinity Montessori School, and coaches junior league baseball and basketball.

Mark R. Foerster
Executive Vice President of Northern Capital Group

Mark R. Foerster is Executive Vice President of Northern Capital Group, a real estate development and acquisition company based in Rochester, New York. He is also Executive Vice President of Macerich East Development, LLC, the east coast development arm of The Macerich Company, a publicly traded REIT based in Santa Monica, California.

From June 2000 through April 2005, he was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Wilmorite Properties, Inc., a private REIT based in Rochester, New York, where he managed the company's external legal affairs and in-house legal department, as well new developments and acquisitions. Prior to June 2000, Mr. Foerster had a 20 year career as a partner and attorney in private practice with Harris Beach, LLP in Rochester.

Mr. Foerster graduated cum laude from Davidson College in 1977 and from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1980, where he was a senior editor on the Syracuse Law Review. He then joined the Harris Beach law firm, where he became a partner in 1987. During his years at Harris Beach, Mr. Foerster was a member of the firm's Corporate, Health Services and Real Estate Departments. He chaired the firm's Commercial Real Estate Development & Finance Practice Group and specialized in commercial real estate finance, including securitized real estate finance. He is a member of the American, New York State and Monroe County Bar Associations.

Mr. Foerster is married, with two grown children, and lives in Pittsford, New York. He is active in the Rochester community. Presently, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater Rochester, and is President of the Board of Directors of the Pittsford Community Library Foundation. Previously, he has served as a director of a title insurance company, a college foundation, a church board of trustees, and several non-profit social service agencies.
